Our family

We are a family church, with members aged 2 to 85.

Our vision is to love God, each other, our community and people in other countries.  We do this in practical ways that are based on relationships with God and each other.

This page some of the things we do as a local church family. On other pages you can learn more about what we do in our community and abroad.

Church life

Central to our life together is worshipping God, learning what the bible has to say to us and sharing our spiritual journey with others.

We meet every Sunday at 10.30 am at the Hardman Centre in Gateshead. During the week we also meet in small groups in peoples homes. Usually this would be to pray and study the bible.

We celebrate Christian festivals such as Easter, Harvest and Christmas. We also support the work of organisations such as the 'Shoebox appeal' and Tearfund.

We also like to have fun. This might be meeting with others for a chat and a slice of pizza.  Or a few days away tackling 'obstacle courses' and spending time with the rest of the church family.

Children

We have a programme of activities and religious education for children aged from two upwards.
